The 19th Bangkok International Book Fair (BKKIBF), organized by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), will take place from 17 to 25 April 2021 in Event Hall 98 – 99, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). Over 200 local and international publishing houses and related companies are ready for book lovers to enjoy a new shopping experience at the brand-new location.
The BKKIBF was a major international publishing event that included copyright trade, book trade, cultural events, and displays in Thailand, with major support and participation from domestic and international publishers as well as governmental bodies.
This year’s theme is “Reading is Cool” in order to encourage people to read. Having a related exhibition called “I Read Therefore I Am,” which will share some notable people’s reading experiences in order to inspire visitors.
Other highlights include the “Know (The Now of) Yourself” exhibition by Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park), the “Phan Waen Fah Awards” exhibition by Thai Parliament, the “Book Awards 2021” by Office of Basic Education Commission, and etc.
